Execution of Lease Deed / Conveyance Deed
Lease Deed means a document by which a person transfers its property, for a certain period on receiving rent thereupon, in favour of other person by keeping ownership of the property with himself. By such instrument the Transferee is entitled to the Leasehold rights on the property and such Lease Deed is compulsorily required to be registered as per Section 17 of the Registration Act, 1908. Lease deed is executed in respect of plot allotted on lease hold basis. In Conveyance Deed the person or the owner of the property transferring the property to the transferee absolutely on "as is where is basis" without keeping any right or interest in the property with him. By such instrument allottee/ transferee is entitled to the freehold rights on the property and such conveyance Deed is compulsory required to be registered as per Section 17 of the Registration Act, 1908. Conveyance deed is executed in respect of plots converted into free hold or plots allotted on free hold basis.
Steps to be taken for Execution of lease Deed
- Allottee/ Transferee needs to submit the request for Execution of Lease Deed along with requisite document as applicable as per Estate Management Manual
- Purchase Stamp papers of the required value
- Submit the form along with the documents to PICTCL at the following address:

- Allottee can make payment by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Ltd, payable at Chandigarh.
Allottee/ Transferee is required to pay the processing fees for execution of Lease Deed /Conveyance Deed plus applicable Service Tax:
