Introduction
The key objective of the Task Forces is to drive decision making in Government and to translate the strategy proposed into the action to be taken by relevant government department. The separate task forces on policy formulation, IT infrastructure, human resource development and investor relations would be responsible for ensuring that the actions/decisions taken are implemented at operational level. The Task Force reviews the progress on initiatives being taken through an on-going monitoring and evaluation process to track the action plan and the implementation status.
Types and Composition of the Task Forces
The Task Force would be chaired by Chief Secretary and co-chaired by Principal Secretary, Department of Industries & Commerce. It would be coordinated by the Managing Director, Punjab InfoTech. The members of the Task Force are defined for the types of Task Forces constituted, viz:
