The State is developing a Knowledge City, Mohali spread over an area of 381 acres. The Knowledge City will comprise of esteemed institutions including the well established Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and proposed National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Indian School of Business (ISB), and Indian Institute of Nano-Science and Technology.
